Default bypass factory chipped Key security ?

Hey Guys I am in kinda of a dilema . I am swapping a Vq Into my 240.

from what i was told is i need part of the 350z wiring harness that goes under the dash for the stupid chiped Key BS. now nissan canada wants 2200 bucks for that under dash harness. my questions is there any way to turn this off or bypass it ? This is going to be a full out track car so this feature is not needed.

or does any one have any more info on how this entire systems works ? I really dont want to have to buy this stupid harness when its the same price as a haltech P&P

Using a Haltech like you said (which would be a good idea anyways considering it will be a track car) would fix it, or convert to a cable throttle body?

You can't use the OEM ECU if you wan't to bypass the security. If you don't have the OEM ECU you don't have to worry about it.

I am doing the same thing, and as long as you have the electronics from the car there isn't anything special to wire. If you have the underdash harness, the bcm, the nat dongle, the key theres nothing extra you would need because you would have the correct parts including the ecu and engine harness.

the haltech is not what i would go for unless the engine is built and turbo.. otherwise you will make more power using a factory ecu. Btw I would run a hydraEMS instead, a lil cheaper but it uses all factory sensors.
