Went to the Dragway for the first time with my 2003 Track. Was not very impressed with my times, although temps were high and hummid. More of a problem though was Tire spin and wheel hop. Any tips or insight on how to correct this would be greatly appreciated!!

 

Was the VDC turned off?

 

drop the clutch at a lower RPM, wheel hop is a result of many things, from suspension to motor mount. its very similair to wheel spin, just sorta happens sometimes if the wheel grabs wrong, same side of the coin. all from giving it more power than it can handle.
