Default would it be worth it to.....?

Install a Nismo limited slip diff one my 2006 350Z 6mt (base)

the reason I am asking is a guy on my local craigslist has one 4 sale that has never been used...

your thoughts?

There is definitely some great benefits from a lsd. I think you wouldnt regret the decision, especially if it was a good deal

Not sure if the sale you are looking at is a complete, entire rear-end with the Nismo LSD already in it, or just the Nismo LSD components to put in your current open diff. rear-end. If it is the latter, then I would suggest you look into a Quaife LSD, as it is a very solid unit and is goes easily into an open diff. rear-end which base models have.

Price seems okay, but would be skeptical about the "slightly used" statement and the unknown as to the first owner. I'm pretty sure the base axle stubs have to be swapped out too when putting in the Nismo LSD into the base diff. (I'm sure someone else will chime-in to correct me if I'm wrong). Not sure what extra parts you might need and what the labor would be. I bet a conservative guess would be at least several hundred dollars, probably more.

oh ok maybe not so worth after I add up everything
