hey ive been doing some research and ive been looking for the model of the 350z's differential. ive been told its equivalent to a dana 27? if anyone can steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!!!

 

I think all the Z diffs are pretty much the same. The only difference is whether or not they come with an LSD, or are open from the factory...

 

The auto diffs and man diffs seem to have different sized carriers. I don't know what they are equivalent too. I know the 3.3 in the auto diff will not drop into the 3.5pumpkin from a manual (or vice-versa)

The carrier in the 350's and G35's are from the same family as the R200's but with slight changes to several parts. They are NOT made by Dana and are not a Dana 27. The case, gears, and diffs are different for the auto and manual trans cars.
