I know this may sound like a silly question, but does an aftermarket flywheel make a difference on an automatic? Thanks. -m

Just a thought.....But what do you think a dealer will say if you lose the trans again and they pull it out and see some other make of flywheel?? Raceboy, get what ever you want and we'll still put in on Wednesday for you, but I'm not sure how other dealers would respond. Guess you'll just have to be a customer for life.

Default I have the JUN flywheel installed

I love the flywheel mod... Car revs alot faster....Have not tested it on the track yet, keeps getting rain out when i want to go. I want to beat my 13.9 time

I can't wait unfortunately. I need to put it in with the tranny swap because I am a cheap bastard and don't want to pay labor twice.

Jeff, you very well may have a customer for life, I am very loyal to the people that take care of me. Just make sure I am getting the very latest tranny this time!!

Does anyone have a Jun Flywheel in stock? PM me!

Looks like it will have to be the JWT since that is the only one of the superlightweights I can get on time.

Thanks for taking it easy on me. This is my first automatic, I've always driven manual. I'm learning. Cheers. -m

When will this be available. In a week or two and will want to replace the flywheel and clutch????

Should hold out for the 350EVO 1 pc steel flywheel.........its the strongest 12 lbs.
We are working with Sachs on a performance clutch but the OEM clutch will work.
It will retail in the $500 range..............

Doesn't 12 lbs seem a little too light? I mean, maybe i just think that because my Z is my daily driver...

Yes if it ever was to for some reason...it could be resurfaced.
I am hoping to have 4 flywheels in the shop within two weeks.

Sounds good, but I sure wish you had came out with it a couple of months ago.

Also, how are the poly bushings coming along? I'm still on the fence with the Delrin bushings.

Or you go real extreme and use one of our Tilton Units. 8.43lb's, with an available Rally, Racing or Carbon Clutches.

Just a quick note, but I don't have any G-Tech numbers for you yet. If feels great. The car revs like a motorcyle in neutral and I can finally do a meaningful h/t throttle blip on downshifts!! 1st and 2nd gears seem to go by much faster now. There is some noise below 2500 rpm, but the car doesn't seem any more difficult to start moving.

For the G-Tech this time, I am doing something different. I didn't think 1/4 mile times would be meaningful as lightweight flywheels can kill you out of the hole because you no longer have all this energy stored in the spinning flywheel on launch. So I did some baseling peak G measurements in 2nd and 3rd gear. I want to see what the increase is, if any.
