Default HR Bottom ENd with DE Heads?

Hey folks.

I have been trying to find information about using a HR Block/Bottom End with the DE Heads for a Road Race Motor.

It is my understanding that the HR Block is significantly stronger, and that the difference to do a HR swap are many and too costly.

So is it possible and cost effective to build a HR Bottom end with eagle rods and forged pistons, and slap on my DE Heads?

I read a thread that GTM is building a Crazy Stroked HR Bottom End, and I have already sent them an e-mail for information.

If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

agreed if you are going to use a stock HR bottom, this makes sense, but if youre building...why try to do something thats never been done, and create yourself a mess of one off problems...

build a DE and call it a day...or do the complete HR swap.

my two point five cents worth.

According to GTM, the HR heads flow a lot better than the DE heads stock to stock. Stick with one or the other to save yourself the headache.
