I have basically a bonestock 03 Z when it comes to any mods to the motor... Guy i know selling these parts.. would it be a good buy for 200$?


"Z1 racing stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel for the vq35 motor. both the clutch and flywheel have under 600 miles. clutch is a stage 2 6 sprung."

Got sent pics... Should I buy these for 200$ Also a set of custom made test pipes... Worth it?

Is this supposed to be a Z1 Motorsports clutch kit? If so I would request some more info on it because we don't sell our clutches in "stages". If it is a Z1 kit that we sold at some point it's a good deal on it considering our flywheel sells for $374 by itself.

 

Yah he said he just put Stage 2 clutch since people dont know wtf hes talking about while selling it... He said his tuner bought it for him and he still has box/etc.. ill post some pics once he sends them to me.. but he said he blew his engine and he pulled this off it last month.. has less than 500miles on it... from what he says.. and he said he ran 13sec in the 1/4 with just this mod to his bonestock Z... dont remember if he said it takes off 35lbs or is 35lbs... either way.. Any of this match up brian ? :}

 

Used flywheel? Maybe if I looked at it.
Used clutch? Never.

It's 17 pounds lighter for the clutch and flywheel, assuming that it is our HD street clutch and lightweight flywheel. If the low mileage is legit it's almost impossible for the flywheel to have been damaged in that length of time, I too would be weary about buying a used clutch though. Although if you can get it at that price even if you had to buy a replacement disc you would come out well on the deal.

My opinion as well. I sent the OP a PM about it. The disc looks like it's seen far more then the 600 miles advertised.

 

600mi advertised? Must have forgotten a couple of zeros.

 

I gave him 100$ for it and I took it home and took pics of it. Obviously when I heard feedback I went back to him and we agreed(earlier before I gave him $$) on if I wanted to keep it I would give him another 100$ (200$) if not he would give me my money back. The test pipes were **** total waste. So I go back(I had to drive all the way because he says hes throwing up blood in bed blah blah blah). So I drive out again next day with my friend with me this time to go return his stuff and get my money back. I dont tell him im giving it back to him because he does seem kinda dumb and desperate and dont want him to try and stiff me. So I get there and I ask for the money back and he can have his stuff back as we agreed. Then he tells me he had bills to pay(24hours and he was suppose to be in bed coughing up blood and he paid bills?) So I listened to his sob story and just nodded. He then tells me he will try and sell it again and once he does he will give me my 100$. Instead I just walk over and take his(idk if its his he said it was) his bike helmet and he can have the clutch/fluwheel and try to sell it. Once he sells it and gives me my money back he can have his helmet back. And through all this he told me he gave my 100$ to his roomate to pay his bills for him blah blah blah.. Low and behold his mom and dad come outside(his roomates?) and now I see whats really going on... I kinda inspire him to give me my money or I would have to create a bigger problem.. So out of nowhere he magically comes up with my 100$ in the same bills in which I gave him... And I leave. So.. POS kid who talks loads of ****, but cannot backup any of it.. He also said his custom made test pipes which had idk what growing on them gave him 30+ HP alone. And he said Performance Factory is abunch of *******s and only work on the cars they want to or who the owner designates to be worthy... Idk.. What a waste of time.

I'm glad you were able to come out of it with your money. I only dropped in the thread because I saw that it was being advertised as a Z1 clutch, I didn't want someone to buy it and have a bad experience with it and get a bad impression of our clutches.
