Default Mod questions

I'm fairly new here but I was thinking about getting an Injen CAI and maybe the borla exhaust. For those of you that have the Injen CAI, I was wondering how easy the install was. I had seen somewhere about someone having to take off the front bumper or something to that effect. Any thoughts or opinions on this would be much appreciated. And also if you guys know of a place that has a very good price on either, let me know.

i didnt take my bumper off to install the injen CAI. the only difficult part was running the silicone tubing throught the stock air inlet and down behind the bumper.. it may have been easier with the bumper removed? ??

There's no reason to take the bumper off, just takes a little patience and a set of small hands, my big mits don't fit in any tight space easily. Most mods aren't that hard to do and can be done at home with simple tools.

No bumper removal here either. Try searching this site for "injen how-to" or "injen review". There are plenty of posts with info like this and how-tos. HOWEVER, here is one tip for you: go to the store and buy some "sexy lube". It makes getting the sil;icone hose through the radiator support much easier. Plus, unlike petrolium-based lubes, it washes off easily with a little water. Believe it or not, it worked great for me.
