The R-Tune Nismo parts aren't covered by the Nissan warranty. However, you can put on some mild mods like exhaust, CAI, and headers and it won't void your warranty (yes, even the Nismo parts, although Nissan says that they won't be covered by a warranty). When you start tearing up your engine looking for more power, then that's when you'll start voiding your warranty. If you're not going to be doing that then mild starter mods should suffice and you'll still be in the clear.

Not too much for performance, but look into nismo's entire line of S tune parts, as well as stillen's parts, I believe they are also covered, but double check before you decide.
