When first start up and engine is cold, whirring sound from tranny
Did this pretty consistently before i had tranny replaced with new cd10. went away, now its been back for awhile. Only does it on start up with clutch in, usually 99% of time stops when clutch is released, usually goes away after that first or second time depress. If engine has been warmed up and stopped, then restarted wont do it again, even after a 2-5 min warmup. Any ideas? Oh btw I called about it when it came back. They I aksed aboutt he throw out bearing, he said it is included with the new tranny because of the larger shaft size. I just found another thread on this so.. sorry for repost.

also, if i let off the accelerator from a mid-hgih rpm and let the engine brake a little with the clutch released, just like i was coming into or out of a turn, there is an audible/feelable increase in vibration until lower rpm is established or clutch is pushed on.
