after talking with Z1 auto, it made a lot of sense that the two trannies would not be interchangeable. In 2007 the transmission changed again the clutch slave Cyl was moved inside the Bell Housing.

Does anyone out there ultimately know the answer to this question?

call nissan parts, ask them if the 2006 tranny is the same part as the 2007 one.

I think they are different.
