A good clutch at a good price?????
Hey every one I got a simple question...What is a good clutch kit at a fair price. My dealership wants to charge me $360 plus tax for just the clutch not including labor. The name brand is VALEO. I've done some research and seen some products like BOSS, EXEDY, F1 RACING etc. just curious if any of these are worth investing in? Thank you for your time!!!

well if you're changing your clutch it's a good idea to replace the flywheel or to have it resurfaced. . .
do you track your car at all or it just a daily driver?
Phone Shariff or Sandy at Forged Performance, he sells kits at awesome prices. . .

If you are thinking to go replace clutch, look for flywheel as well, that will save you labor cost in future.
Edit: keep your eyes on classifields, https://my350z.com/forum/drivetrain-420/

I just installed a Nismo r-tune clutch and I like it, ..but its more than $300. If you are daily driving than stick with stock Dual Mass flywheel, I did.
Everyone says replace it with a lighter one, and I can see the economy in that, however, if you don't track or race, its not necessary and it still ups the cost. If the dm flywheel is still in good shape, just leave it in.
This combo'd with Nismo clutch works really well for me. There is a good reason for the DM flywheel, yes, its heavier, but it makes the car more driveable for daily use and will reduce wear and tear on rest of drivetrain as it evens out the 'shock' to the drivetrain when engaging and disengaging. It also allows for smoother deceleration also. I did my research on clutches when deciding and would have gone Exedy if I hadn't found a great price on the Nismo clutch. For the $300, you can probably only go with OEM Exedy, not stage 1.

Great thanks for all the input guys and yes I know how to drive a stick I bought the 2004 Z used several months ago. And the only reason why I'm considering getting a new clutch is b/c my dealership says that I need one soon just not immediate. So I don't know if there trying to pull a fast one on me cause the one I have now seems fine. And just curious does clutch go under the powertrain warranty?
