why is the cd009 tranny so much quieter?

why is the cd009 tranny so much quieter?

after getting the new tranny in my z..the drive is so much more quiet then before...but the car doesn't sound as mean as before...def drives better though..smoother

Ummmm... because there was something wrong with the old one that was replaced.

It's ok OP. I got a shoulder for you. Here I'll make it you worth while; When I got my new tranny, I also felt it was quieter and smoother. Fear not, a few thousand miles later, that good ol' familiar sound returned.
