Default Possible issue with TCS

See if you guys can let me know what can be potentially wrong with the car. I was driving my brother’s auto yesterday and was getting ready to get on the onramp on another freeway. The onramp curves to the left but it is a long curve (just trying to describe it so you guys can picture it good), I merge with it and I am going about 60 mph which is normal and safe for this type of ramp. All of a sudden the “slip” light starts to flash but I am not sure why. The ground was nice and dry, was not going fast, did not loose traction so I didn’t know what was going on. Can you guys give me a clue to what to check for? Any info would be appreciated.

Nice! LOL. Well first of all he was in the passenger seat, second of all he was concerned. He has owned this car for almost 4 years and that has never happened and third I am his older brother and it concerned me because I would not want anything negative to happen to him while he was driving if I could find out an answer. Only time I have seen the light comes on is in the rain when we have floored it or when we have broken traction.

the car probably sensed something wasn't right and flashed the light. i would be more concerned if it did not work. whether you felt the loss of traction or not it still sensed it.
