Default Default Oil pressures

At idle around 20-30

Street driving 60-90

Highway max 90

Is above what you guys see also?

How low does the oil need to get till you see a drop in oil pressure?

Sounds about right.

WHen your oil is so low you drop pressure, it's too late (there is none left). Oil pressure is no substitute to checking the dipstick regularly.

i try to check my oil regularly. checking the stupid oil dipstick is somewhat of a pain though on the z for me. the thing always springs out at the last minute splashing the oil off from the stick. i guess i just have to use a rag or something w/ the other hand to keep it steady at the last minute before the tip comes out. i don't know why i have a hard time w/ that. and yes, i'm still talking about the dipstick oil checker on the z..
