Default Pleasantly Surprised

Hey guys, a little while back I took my 350Z in to have a "grinding 5th gear" looked at. Seeing as its under warranty, I figured why not. They called me back saying they replaced the clutch, bearings, and synchros... At least now I have all new parts. Was all that really necessary?

Am I still in trouble of it grinding then, seeing as they did not replace the whole transmission?
