Clutch Issue
I will try to explain this the best way I can but it may be confusing so sorry in advance.
I have a 07 Base and I have already had the Master Slave Cylinder replaced.
Recently, since it has been warmer, the clutch pedal has been sticking in and not popping back out. There is about a 1"/.5" of play in the pedal before it reaches the point where the clutch actually begins to engage. After I engage the clutch and release the pedal, it doesn't always pop back up to the 1"/.5" position as before. When this happens I have to put my foot behind the pedal and pull it back up.
My questions are as follows:
1) Is there a way to adjust the pedal so this doesn't happen?
2) Am I correct that this 1" to .5" of play region in the pedal doesn't actually engage the clutch. The reason I ask is I don't want to be inadvertently "riding the clutch" if this problem can't be fixed.
3) Any suggestions as to why this is occuring?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions

That should tell you everything you need to know, watch the video too. The sticking clutch issue has been brought up many times before.
BTW - What part of cinci are you from?

hmmm, well i am having the same issues. i changed my clutch yesterday and afterwards everytime i pushed the clutch in the pedal wouldnt "pop" back into normal position. i would literally have to pull it out. and as the first post i have about an inch of play as well when its fully pressed down.
I've tried bleeding it multiple times to see if any air got in and its still sticking..

Hmmm!!! Yeah I took mine to the dealership yesterday and they said nothing was wrong and that the inch of play could not be removed. So I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Although this is the same thing that happened right before I had to replace the slave cyclinder.
I am currently living in Finneytown as it is close to work.

What fluid did you put into it afer you bled it? Because most likely what is happening is the clutch line is getting too hot and the fluid is boiling. Get something with a higher boiling point or wrap your clutch line and make sure its far enough away from your headers.
