Default 2006 G35x Donor Engine for a 2003 350z

Guys need some feedback please.

I have located a donor 2006 G35x engine and was wondering if I was going to run into any issues transplanting this into my 2003 350z. I have been told that this is a non revup which is the same as mine.

I would assume that my existing loom will be ok with this motor. Im looking to do a direct drop in after the build and trying to reduce any complications that may occur.

Basically I will be using this motor to start my built motor project

As long as its a VQ35DE you should be stright. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, the only difference between these two motors is the drivetrain.

Just the engine. AWD would be awesome but i'm looking just to do a straight forward build for my HKS ST.

I was a bit concerned as i assume it was from a AWD model hence th G35x and was seeking advice on how similar the engines are.

Dave has some sick nasty looking cars at his shop. My first 10-15 min there is usually spent looking at the monsters he has there.

you sure the 06 doesnt use a rev-up? then again being the x, not sure on that. if it is a rev-up motor you will also need the ecu, and wiring harness (you can tell if theres 4 cam sensors in the back, and 2 sensors below the cam covers)

I checked the 06 G35 FSM and can see that this has 4 sensors on the rear. I haven't managed to find the G35x FSM to compare.

Any one got linky linky

Will see if I can get some pics of the engine

Also I assume that I can swap out my upper oil pan to replace the G35x upper oil pan/transfer case
