its been like this for a while now. I dont know why but engaging into third gear i will always grind. Im turbo'd and this is really taking the fun out of it. Ive heard this is common. Every other gear is fine but i have to ease off the gas and then shift into third. Clutch not slipping or anything just third. Suggestions?

 

Im thinking about new clutch like the stage 4 with the flywheel from Forged but just want some opinions on what you guys think is going on.

Im having the same problem, you gear synchro went out in third gear. The 03 and 04 tranny is notorious for it and Nissan even made an upgrade transmission for the 03 and 04. I was quoted at the dealership for 3000 full tranny replacement. I haven't done anything as of yet im up for suggestions as well though.

 

full throttle upshifts do that to a trans. Time for a new trans, $1800 is about the going rate for a new one.
