Default custom grounding kit

I recently installed a custom grounding kit in my car that i made myself. I did it at the same time that my buddy installed his that he bought from a not to be mentioned person selling the kit. I was surprised to find that the terminals were cheap silver plated terminals and not even heat shrinked. Im not sure who made this kit but im sure I can make them better and cheaper. I like the responce i got from the kit great idle and good throttle responce.

I decided I will sell the kits.

I am offering a 4 guage kit in red, blue, silver, and black for only $60.00

I can also make an 8 gauge in the same colors for only $53.00

For the extreme enthusiast i will offer a 2 gauge kit for the low price of 75.00 (much more expensive wire) only in blue or silver.

Interested? please pm me. I accept pay pal.

I've been selling kits for almost a year and tried to not infringe on the member of this forum who pioneered the grounding kit. We have exchanged friendly emails on this subject and I have recommended his kits to others in the past.

Now that there are multiple members selling kits at reduced prices it only seemed fair to offer mine as well. I think new forum members are looking for the best deals. MIne may or may not be it.

Free Enterprise is what we are all looking for or we would all just buy high priced Nismo products for our 350Z's.

I did not know anyone owned a thread. If I have violated some forum code of ethics I apologize and I recommend the moderator delete my posts on this thread.

I have to hand it to Z327, his grounding kit is awesome, with great instructions, and great price. Its nice to see different people making mods for the Z and selling them reasonably.

I'm not doubting it's quality just the ethics of pitching it in a thread another person started. Wouldn't you rather sell it on it's own merit, in it's own thread, so people who did in fact purchase it could respond with their impressions of your product without confusing it with a close competitor?

What does a grounding kit do? Is it hard to install? I may like one also........is there really a difference from stock? Can a non-mechanic guy do this pretty easily?

You can do a search on grounding kits. I have the one that insameanime made and it was extremely easy to put on. The idle is less harsh now than it was before.

fanatic: the change/improvement with the grounding kit is minimal under most conditions. but I have one on my car.

Past posts have stated that the measured ground charge can be slightly (+) under high speed conditions because there is a lag in draining charge from the engine block. The ECU assumes a stable and neutral ground for making its adjustments. This lag in draining the charge from the engine is improved with additional ground wires-sort of like a freeway can handle more cars than a 2-lane black top.

Thus the subtle improvement in idle smoothness etc. It’s more difficult to measure improvement at high speeds. I guess that Nissan (and others) race cars, where the rpms are high have additional grounding wires.

This is how I understand the situation from previous posts. For my car any improvement seems quite subjective. Others note an immediate improvement as jleigh described.

I'm just the opposite. I wish all suppliers would respond when they sell similar or the same products. Then we could all benefit from the competition. The forum is so large it can take forever to dig through and find the best deals. Anyone can feel free to post their products or their prices when I have posted an item for sale and I won't care.

I wish I could still get $75 for a ground kit, but others have entered the market and driven down the prices. I sell my kits for $48 shipped (continental USA). I include the bolts, washers, nut, tiewraps, and full color photo instructions. I remove the company logo from the cable. I heatshrink and apply the decorative boot. I have had to do all these things to make my kits attractive. Its the compettition that has made my kits better than when I first started. Others may do more or less.

As far as jumping into this thread. Do we really need 30 threads on CAI kits for sale? Or Big brake kits?

When I want to buy components for my computer I always go to pricewatch.com and can find several vendors competing for my business.

If you are going to offer up an item for sale in this country you should be ready for competition.

All just IMHO.
