I doubt they will since they're high school punks, but it's worth a try and tomorrow is my day off from work.

Guess you gotta call for last.

I have a very good local dealership and if you want I guess I could make a call for you. I got my number from them and it took about 15 seconds, and they knew exactly the number I needed. Just pm me if you want.

Maxmood, just logged my cipher today. My second part ( after 27XXX ) starts with CD.

Hope that helps.

Edit:

03threefiftyz,

Is there way that i can look into Rev limiter via cipher? I tried find it but had no luck. (Maybe i can look via osiris tuner?)

thnx Chef.. the problem is, with all those part numbers i got, it doesn't seems to match with what Nissan got on their website. there isn't such thing as 27xxx-CFxxx (which are the numbers most of u guys got from the dealer).. i'll just wait for Mike's attempt at getting the number.

about the rev limiter, you can set it with cipher as well as with osiris standard.

just download the manual and read it out.

Well...it doesn't looks like i can log on osiris. Gotta look over again...Maybe cuz i only had dyno tune? I remember jared told me, cipher won't do much in my case. If i want to real log on to change things, he said i need a tuner.

Thanks for an advice.

to do a whole new map, you'll need the Tuner. otherwise, Standard is ment for e-tunes/refined maps from Uprev. Cipher on the other hand can do as little:

  • Target Idle RPM
  • +/- 2 degree static timing adjustment
  • Cylinder power testing
  • Clear Learned Fuel settings
  • Manual control of BCM functions, ie. Windows UP/Down, Activate Locks, Wipers, Lamps, etc.
  • Fuel Pressure purge
  • Ethanol Adjustments (if vehicle is equipped)
  • Coolant Test
Supported Parameters:

Below is a short list of available data parameters...
  • Engine Speed - RPM
  • Throttle Position Sensor
  • Vehicle Speed
  • MAF Sensor
  • Calculated Load Value
  • Oxygen Sensor
  • Ignition Timing
  • Accelerator Position
  • Wide Band A/F Voltage (equipped vehicles)
  • Coolant Temperature

You need the tuner version to adjust rev limit. Only thing you can do with cipher besides diagnostic logs is bump idle up ~250rpm and adjust base timing -/+ 2 degrees.

^ Gotcha. Thanks.

Edit: One more, What's real benefits from just adjust -/+2 timing?

If your car is dyno tuned I wouldn't play with it. I bump my timing +2 when I run 100-104oct fuel, but I wouldn't on pump. If it was tuned you can be sure that the tuner is likely running as much timing as is beneficial.

When you get the reflash you tell them what you want the rev limit to be. Mine was 7000. If you get the car dyno tuned with Osiris the tuner can set it to your specification.
