Humm coo. I might check with jared one more time. I think he told me cipher won't change any tune that he did. Thanks for advice.

It doesn't change the tune at all, but it just bumps the base timing (which correspondingly will increase the timing above what it is already hard coded in). If at a given rpm you are at 30 degrees and you bumped it +2 via cipher it will now be 32 at that same rpm. At least that is what I had understood. Check with UPREV though. If the cars ecu senses knock it will automatically (under 5k rpms) pull the timing.

My best advice would be not too touch the timing since you are FI on stock block. Too much timing=boom.

I saw.......over-reved it huh? My redline is 7000 and I know a few others who push 7200 so you should be fine.

In the my after vid in the below thread it actually pegged 7030rpm according to cipher. My car revs up there in a hurry with the OS set-up.

thnx guys for trying to get me the part number.. appreciate your help.

tho, an idea just clicked in my head. since Uprev offer an upgrade option for ppl with Cipher only, i can buy that and pull out the part number from my ECU and then upgrade to Osiris.?

i think it's gonna cost me more than the norm, but that's a way of doing it.

another way would be, take my car to our local dealer and have them pulling out the number from my ECU directly.

how does that sound?

I'd call......I know it's expensive for you, but UPREV does not respond to email too quickly. I imagine they are pretty overwhelmed, but just FYI.

True that, most of shops are busy doing work under the hood or dyno ( especially Tuners) .

Edit: i was talking with jared via email, i just reply him back. I did mention about you, send him an email. If you don't hear from him within few days, i can send him a message or give a call for you.

I think someone at UpRev was on vacation last week, maybe that is the cause for some delay. I just got my Osiris standard package yesterday . Not sure on Jared's email - sorry. Try calling?
