2003 VQ35DE Block Worth?
I just had my motor replaced after my girlfriend over-revved my old block. So now I have my old 2003 block sitting on a dolly, awaiting its resting place. I don't have a place to store it while I join the service, and don't have the money to start a build now. I'm just curious if anyone would be interested in buying a blown motor to have a running rebuild. It needs a new crank, pistons and rods but I figure if you're doing a build you'd do that anyway.
If not I guess I'll just drop it off at my local metal yard and see how much I can get by melting it.
Thanks guys,
Gus

OT question - how do you know it was from over-revving? No rev-limiter? What was the actual damage that the over-rev condition caused?
