Default Spark Plugs

Hey. I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. I just had my friend install some 4 prong spark plugs and replaced my old ones which was single prong and now after putting all the parts back in place and starting up the car it has the service engine light on and it seems like the engine is louder then before. Is it because my friend did something wrong? Btw the intake manifold part looks to be shaking a lot. Should I get a mechanic to check it or can I fix this myself?

Huh?

Why did u go to those kind of plugs? What was done to the manifold? It sounds what was installed on your manifold (plenum spacer?) was not tightened down...at all...don't let your buddy touch your car again.

I got some bosch four prong spark plugs but I had to take off the manifold to reach the spark plugs area. I swapped out the original spark plugs. Then when I looked into the engine after turning on the car it looks like the manifold was shaky. =/ I didnt do anything to the manifold just unscrewed it and put it back on when it was finished.

Ascertain the fact that the plugs are the correct size. The electrodes on some of them are too high and may even damage the piston head. I'm not a mechanic, but read that fact in Popular Mechanics some time back.

Im installing back my old ones I guess. They were working fine until I took them out. Anything I need to know before I put back the old ones? The back side where the exhaust is located smells funny. It might be burning more gas or something. Also there is a bolt hole behind the last coil on the right side of it near the drivers wheel. Is that hole suppose to be empty or did my friend lose a bolt? lol. There ones bolt holding down the coil another holding something around it and then there is a extra hole.

Nope. I just replaced the spark plugs I guess it was stronger then my old ones so it burns more fuel. Thats probably the thing that smells funny in the exhaust from the back.

My mechanic friend fixed it. He changed the plug from the coils because my friend put it in the wrong one and reversed it.
