Default Shifter Linkage Pin Removal

I searched and couldn't find any previous topics on this. Also I can't find it in the service manual. In my 03 Z I am replacing my transmission with a CD009. When I got the transmission the shift linkage was removed from the tranny. I want to know how I can remove these pins without damaging them. I've tried a small screw driver to push the smaller pin out first but it starts digging in and widening the pin instead of pushing it out. Is there a special tool that I can use? Can I reuse the pin and if not where can I get a new one? Thanks.

The pin is here on the right.

Here is the other side already sticking out a bit.

Thanks a lot, that's exactly what I needed. I'll probably get those next time I come across something like that again.

I ended up finding a slightly larger flathead screwdriver and just spent some time with it and it came out. I was able to hook up the shifter linkage and get everything else bolted up. Tomorrow I'll give it a test run to see how I did on my first transmission change.

It's going to be so weird to have 3rd gear again. I'm going to have to unlearn shifting from 2nd to 4th.
