Default Using Royal Purple Gear Oil as a top off

Using Royal Purple Max Gear Oil as a top off 75W-90 synthetic for diff & manual trans. I notice my diff fluid was low. I didn't get to check the trans yet. Says its good for GL-4 and GL-5 fluids.

You think i'll be ok using this just for a top off?

I use it in my diff. No problem at all. Works great.

I would be concerned why the differential oil is low.
