My only guess regarding that is the fact that gasoline slowly loses its power over time through evaporation and what not - I'm not sure of the exact physics involved, but it's along those lines. That's why it's said that you shouldn't have gasoline 3-weeks or older in your tank - it just loses its energy. So if you want a suggestion along those lines, only fill up your gas tank to a little more than you'll use in 3 weeks.

As far as the lag goes, I've picked up a bit of lag in the throttle response, but nothing severe. My big thing is that the tach will stay up for a little while after I let go of the throttle when it's higher than 3K. My brother, who owns an 03 G35c has been completely perplexed by that. I've just adjusted. With all my mods and worn tires, I broke loose gassing it from 35mph in 2nd, so the power/torque is certainly there.
Try resetting your ECU to throttle body relationship by the relearn proceedure.

I tried that a while back, to no avail. The throttle lag thing (where the tach momentarily hangs without falling upon let-off) is a really peculiar, as it seems to very distinctively stop acting that way below 3K rpm. It's almost like it's that way by design.

hmm well your comment about gas, i get gas every week so its not that old.

I dont know what procedures i should take because it really feels like a different car right after i get gas. Throttle is resonsive and you can feel the acceleration oposed to normal driving days

Maybe illt ry resetting it? I noticed my MPG has also came down and i dont drive the car hard. I used to get 20-21

I would really love to know why it does that, because I notice it too.

Mine does that too. The older 05's I test drove without the revup did not seem to do that.

I always thought it was because of the heavy flywheel. Mine does that rpm hang thing but in youtube videos I see, guys with upgraded flywheels it seems unnoticeable. Anyway if you guys can post your mileage and how well serviced your cars are. We might be able to find a solution to this problem if it really is. Also if you feel like you're slower than the 03-05's up top then I'd start here:

1) Nissan approved compression test

2) Clean air filters including MAF sensor.

3) Check all hoses, grounds, etc for proper installation or ruptured lines.

I'd strongly suggest you take it to Nissan to have a compression test done.

+1 on cleaning/checking the MAF. I had mine clogged up after installing injen intakes into my older car. Once cleaned out, huge difference in power.
