ENGINE SPECs
I am trying to gather as much information as I can the following Engine Design Utility: http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/enginedesign/ ...
Now I hope this becomes a "sticky" because this utility has been extremely valuible to the datsun community. I hope we can get the following info:
VQ30DET, VQ33DD, VQ35DE, VQ40DE, VQ35HR
BLOCK:
Number of Cylinders, Deck Height, Bore
Crank:
Stroke, Rod Bearing OD, Rod Thickness
Head:
Combustion Chamber CC, Number of Valves, Intake Valve(s) Diametre, Exhaust Valve(s) Diametre
Rods:
Length, Piston End Bore, Piston End Thickness, Big End Bore, Big End Thickness, Weight
Pistons:
Bore, Pin Height, Pin Diametre, Dish/Dome CC, Weight
Cam:
Intake Valve Lift, Exhaust Valve Lift, Intake Duration, Exhaust Duration, Intake Opens, Exhaust Opens
Other:
Gasket Height, Redline

Well I see this as funny. That 81 people have looked but not one can provide any infomation or support on a topic that has become very important to many people, including people on this forum?

That OZDAT site is Swaeeet!
Would be awesome if you get this thread going and a similar site could be made with the whole VQ series, and maybe throw all of the VH, VK, VG motors in there as well!

I see so many threads were people are taking about vq40s, vq35des, vq35hr, ect... everyone has an opinion but no-one can be forsure. We have a chance to pull all the VQ information together and put it to use in the above link and I see that people would reather talk about oil plow-by or CELs. Whatever, this is my last time to try and bump this thread, to get people interested. I will get the information, I just dont know if I will share. =(

The best place to get this information would be the factory service manuals, in the "EM" (Engine Mechanical) section. Subsection SDS(Service Data and Specifications)
