a higher rev limit really makes the 1 - 2 shift better

can this be warranty form Nissan? my 2nd gear is harder to get in now, I have 47k miles, and tried Redline, Royal Purpal, now back to original Nissan tranny fluid.

I had to wait 1/2sec before shifting into 2nd to avoid grinding sometimes.. If I power shift, it will grind 50% of the time..

Has anyone warranty their transmission for hard to shift 2nd gear?

The only thing I dislike about 2nd gear is that I feel I am waiting for the engine to "catch up" and the revs to drop before I can release the clutch. I am thinking that a lighter flywheel may cure this issue.

2nd gear is horrible. I blame two things: Shitty syncros and a rediculously high engagement point. Really you haveta get the shift "just right" to avoid grinding when you are flooring it. With a B&M short shifter and stock fluid I would grind it quite often. I took out the B&M and dropped in Redline MT-90 and WOW much better but I still get an occasional grind (maybe like a 10% occurence). I know if the engagement point could be lowered substantially without issues it would fix the problem 100%. I slightly stripped the bolt on the adjuster while trying to lower it so I gave up (lest I fark up the car). I think when I do a flywheel/clutch change (soon) I am going to buy an 05-06 clutch pedal assembly (smoother and easier to push) and then have a mechanic adjust it to a lower setting.
