i knew a z wont be close to my 383, i never said that. I said a pretty much stock z just is not cutting it. but either way a stock camaro to a stock z, the power to weight ratio is almost the same

On paper... yes
I don't remember what stock Camaros dyno at but I'm pretty sure they lay down within 5% of the crank rating. (they're underrated)
Z's aren't as lucky. Unless you have serious boltons I wouldn't line up at the dragstrip against one (nobody ever streetraces, right???)
