at 30k miles is it late to change??

Default at 30k miles is it late to change??

i know this has been discussed in many other threads but im asking anyway, i couldnt find a good answer so yeah my car is about to break 30k soon, i have a 05 roadster and live in new york starting to get cold
WOULD THIS BE A GOOD TIME TO CHANGE TO SYNTHETIC??

Uh ohhh, too late for you for sure. Your stuck using dino oil for eternity........
You can begin using full systhetic oil anytime you want.

I think your supposed to run about another 170k miles, up to the 200k mark before you run a synthetic. Kind of like a Mercedes Benz Diesel but faster.
Go ahead and switch, better now than never.

You can switch to synthetic any time you want. Don't worry about it.

change it asap and get some good oil in there , and stay synthetic forever.....where in ny u?

There are many myths regarding synth' motor oil, one of 'em being "you gotta break the engine in with regular motor oil for the first 'x' number of miles, THEN shift to synthetic". Not true; I've done, at least, 4 or 5 searches on it, plus read an article on CR a few years back, and discovered that many automakers deliver their vehicles with synth' oil from the factory! So, go for it, and start benefiting your motor with it, dude!

Yeah I'm going to change it as soon as I got some free time , and I'm in westchester

but one more thing 5-30 or 10-30 since it's getting colder around here??
