Default Which LSD for an '08 Base 6MT?

I'd like to have LSD in my '08 base, and wonder what the best option would be; Torsen, Quaife, Nismo, etc.?

Anyone with first-hand experience care to share their opinions? I've used Quaife in my Alfa Spider's, but of course, they've got much less torque and they're a much smaller, better-balanced car than the Z. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, so TIA.

I don't have "first hand" experience with the Quaife, but from what I understand, it is a direct swap-in replacement. That is what I'm going to order for our TT shop Z, which is also an '08 Base.

I will soon have 1st hand experience. Having a Quaife installed in my Nismo end of this month. After doing alot of reading it came highly recommended.

I have KAAZ 2way .. The oil is expensive.. It makes some noise.. It performs very well on the other hand. Helical lsd are better because they are quieter I believe.

Thanks for the replies, guys. The more searching I do, the more the Quaife makes sense, and especially since it's a drop-in to a base rear end, and that I've already got Quaifes I'm happy with in other cars. My '08 is a real handful in the rain the way it is now.

Like when your turning the inside tire lights up? Stock tires? A good set of tires, and a good lsd, will make a night/day difference.. I had my car on a track for the first time ever last weekend.. I am very impressed with how it performed. I would also recommend installing a 3.9 final drive ring and pinion with your new lsd.
