Default Engine power cut (Rev limiter)

Hi guys
I have 06 350Z Base 6SP MT
I hit the rev limit yesterday which i set at 6,000RPM
but it wasn't even my first time to hit the rev limit and it didn't go to the red line (7,000 RPM). After I stopped on the red light and was trying to go with 1st gear on green light, my car didn't go well. The car was making a jerking motion around 2,000RPM-2,500RPM and it didn't go higher to that point. It was about 20mph. I thought it was about over heating something like that. So i had to pull my car on the side way and turned the engine off for the rest. After few minutes, I started the engine again, it was fine. However, I feel uncomfortable now. I drive little tough now days but not crazy enough to harm the engine. Sometimes, I hit 4,000-5,000 RPM before i shift to the next gear. Usually in 1st,2nd,and 3rd gear. I usually drive normal.
Does anyone knows what kind of problem is this ?

Is this one of those fake posts again?

So you hit rev limit and instantly thought you were overheating? Did you look at the temp gauge?

You need a new car! From all your previous threads it seems you have nothing but problems. The Z is not for you.

what do you have done to the car? imo either this is pure lie or you got some weird *** tune on there or your car entered safe mode because you have been thrashing the last breathe out of it for the past 100 years...
