Frontier is 4.08.

Newer MT 350z or G35 have 3.7 in them, so if you have a 03 automatic, then it's a pretty good upgrade.

All MT 350Z's have 3.538 FD. The 2008 (and maybe 2007?) G35's do have a 3.69 in them, though.

You are correct, only the new G35s have the 3.7 FD. I keep thinking otherwise since it's such a good upgrade for this platform.

OP, what you can do to save some money is buy a used diff housing in the marketplace. It's going to be much cheaper then putting new gear into yours. It's not exactly the ratio you are looking for but it's a thought. It cost me around $550 in labor to replace and install new gears, a used one sometimes run for only a few hundred bucks and is quite easy to replace.
