i just swaped my non rev motor for the REV UP motor and now my idle when i start up jumps by its self to 2k and then goes down between 1k - 1200 when i get on it car feels like theres something holding it back but i get the same thing, power while crusing it stutters i can get off the gas and the idle will stay there at rpm's,ive done the relearn prcedures and i have tried to reset the ecu by having it unpluged for over 15 hours but still same thing, im not throwing a (CEL) so i dont know what the hells going on , can anyone shoot me some advise?

did u get all the of the wiring required to do it. such as main harness, and engine harness if u dont u may have a CAN problem. and ur ecm might not be getting all the signals it needs.

The problem with swapping different versions of the VQ is the wiring is quite different. The ECM may even snap into place with the main harness, yet not be communicating with the BCM, ABS and other sensors. I'll bet even the OBD II post (that CONSULT plugs into) isn't wired in a way that allows the ECM to respond.
You might try to decipher the wiring of both harnesses to rewire them properly. You can find some of the diagrams in the FSM, but they may not be complete with all pin placements. This is a job that only a few mechanics are properly qualified for.

sorry to tell u but it might not fix it. are u installing the new ECM or the dealer? because u need to register the key to the new ecm.
