Default non rev to rev up swap

hey guys, i want to know if its worth doing this or not. my brothers friend both a 03 350z 6mt but it has a front end accident, so he's in a search for a front end. He found an 06 350z 6mt which is the rev up engine and i wanted to sell my car to buy a 6mt rev up since my plans are to go NA. but my car is 03 g35 5at so my question is, will the wiring harness and everything be the same or its different from the g35 and 350z. His friend told me he wants 1000$ and i could take anything i want, he only needs the bumper, fenders, the hood and headlights, so everything else i could take them for 1000$. You guys think i should jump on this or not, i want a 6mt, but i don't know the difference on the g35 and 350z wiring

Thank you

it won't work.

you need a complete wiring harness, ecu, the works. revup and nonrevup are way different models. You'll spend more than it's worth.

do a search and you would have found that it's pointless and a waste of money.

At least he's not asking about windshield stickers!

on a brighter note, swapping the transmissions isn't bad.

your 2003 and other 2003 parts will fit right up. just use that one.

Some do, some don't. Luck of the draw. Mine is fine with just over 40k, some 03's are fine with over 100k, some had major problems before 20k. Every car is different.

And I don't see any upgrade in putting a rev-up in your car even if it was easy

ya, like others said it's random.

Mine went out at 48k. 3rd and 5th. I had to get a cd009 trans and it's been great since.

There's no guarantee that the 06 trans won't go out either.
