Would the Borla be better in the long run if you planned on boosting (ati) your engine?

nismo is under warranty, but the dealer has to install it (i have no clue what they charge)....i'm not sure if you have to buy the exhaust from the dealer too...

ditto on the FI route....does it really make a difference if you have a true duel or not...i always liked the nismo, but it's not a truel duel....does it even make a difference?

I'm going with the Nismo...just as soon as I can find a Performance Nissan price and a sane amount on shipping.

If nismo is under warranty and borla can breach it then it sa no brainer for Nismo as far as Im concerned. Last thing I need is some a$$hole dealer blaming my aftermarket parts falsly. I hear its a pain to prove otherwise.

I think its inconsequential for the exhaust whether its warranties or not - there is nothing a cat back exhaust is going to harm or damage to the point where you would even need warranty work.

Either is fine - pick what you like best!

So you were the one!!!

I almost did the buy now on that, but I always get that nagging feeling that if something looks too good to be true...well, you know.
Enjoy the Nismo (I know you will), and I'll keep checking ebay!

D A M N, I wish I had mountains like those here!

I just measured my tips which are oval: 4 1/4" wide OD, 3 3/4" tall, with a .35" wall thickness. (Odd that the measurements are spot on American, not metric.)

They do stick out a bit more than OEM.....maybe 1/2". They also have less of a "Slash" angle. So, the bottom of the tip might stick out 3/4"-1" further. Hope that made sense.......

Here is a pic:

Are the mufflers polished? I saw pictures of somebody elses and it looked like a std. aluminum muffler (dull) - - I like the polished look.

Go with The Nismo

great sound when you want it and quiet when you are just cruisin down the road.
I have the Nismo on my Roadster and when you punch it, it sounds awesome. It was dealer installed so the 3yr/36 warranty applies just in case.
The stainless steel is nice and polished and tips look a little larger than the stock tips. Also has the nice Nismo laser engraved name on the tips.
