VQ Cyl Sleeves? Golden Eagle, Darton, etc?
Does anyone know of any sleeve manufacturers coming out with anything for the VQ35DE? I'd like to get a block out of a wrecked Nissan and start building it.. ideally with ductile iron sleeves to close the deck. Darton has an interesting "Modular Integrated Deck" solution, which would also be nice. Anybody have any info, thoughts, or other suggested places to look?
I dont know about anyone having plans to do it I'm sure that somebody will... GE would probably be my choice those guys have run absolutely amazing boost on som of those sleeves... anyways I'm with you though I would love to get another engine and start building too

Hopefully I can do it in 2 years or so. A VQ35 at 20psi of boost will be a beast. We'll see if the tranny and diff can hold it.
Well, AEBS is good for about 60 pounds also, 55+ so they say, still, who the hell is going to ever boost that much
Reason I went with AEBS, is because the other people I'm working with, my tuner, has said great things about them, and so have a few others I know, plus, they are decking the block, so no open block. Price, alot, more then I wanted, but it's a custom job, so what are you going to do. We'll see how it goes, I'll have pics of this whole mess when it's done, but I will see the block when it's ready to be put back in, I want to check the work out myself.
