Question Downshift Rev Matching 350z A/T

Hi guys,

The Nissan 350Z A/T 2005 came with a Downshift Rev Matching. I have a 2003 model and i am looking for a trany upgrade to shift gear faster and downshift sharp, the 3.5 torque does the rest.

My plan:

1) TRANSGO VB upgrade kit

2) Transcooler upgrade, any sugestions?

3)As far as you all know, can i adapt the original DRM from Nissan or buy a DRM kit to upgrade my trany and enjoy downshifting my 350z A/T. On the racetrack with the use of the tiptronik, when come to sharp corners where i have to downshift 4/3/2 while braking, the shifting is too slow for my taste. Any sugestions again.

Thank you for your answers.

I'd start by changing the fluids. Also shift times are the same for all 350z autos.

From what I've noticed, the quicker you pull the lever back, the more responsive the transmission is to shift. Also, you don't need to wait until the car shifts one gear down until you shift another. Just very quickly tap the gear lever twice down and it'll pop straight into 2nd, as opposed to 3rd then 2nd.
