So I decided to do manuel mode in my 350z automatic mind you I just got my license a few months prior and havent learned the true clutch manuel yet. I was in my friends neighborhood driving at highspeeds sinces he has alot of straight aways however when I pulled up to my friends house and put the car on Drive it turned the car seemed to turn off on me. My friend said cause I was still in 3rd gear when I put the car back to drive has anyone else had a problem like this?

what's a true clutch manual? you have an auto so it's not even close to a manual for shifting.
