Limp mode
2003 350z touring 6mt
Im putting my car back to stock. i had a built motor (which im selling) and the hks tt kit. I just installed a stock motor (i installed my built motor myself too) and cranked the car.. it starts and idles fine (1000rmp) but it wont rev past 2700 rmps while in neutral and car is in jacks... it also hesitates to rev period and car shakes a lil more than usual.. i know it could be anything but i am open to suggestions!!! i need to get my car running by tomorrow!!!
I am reading anything that has to do with limp mode.. i will also check and recheck all connections.. which i made sure to check and recheck b4 i starter the car.
anything else?

Never had to do mine, but i know its something to do with the clock position or something. Search under flywheel intall how too, see what comes up for you.

Are you sure you lined up the flywheel properly when you installed it. There is a small dowel on the crank that has to align with the a small hole on the flywheel. But if the little dowel is missing from the crank it could easily be misaligned. There is a crank position sensor on the drivers side of the trans, it is between where the trans bolts to the block. It looks like a cam sensor. Make sure this sensor is good, try to replace it with one that works to make sure that is not the issue. Do you recall aligning that small little dowel when you put all the flywheel bolts on?
