Default VQHR: Which one is the upper radiator hose?

Hi guys, I wanna know which one of the following is the UPPER radiator hose, or is it none of the above? THANKS!

well, assuming that number 2 is higher in the engine compartment, i will go out on a limb and go with #2.

as with any water-cooled modern automobile engine, and as can be easily found with a few minutes of contemporary google researching techniques, the UPPER radiator hose is the one that connects to the UPPER part of the radiator. aka #2 in ur pic

Thanks. I did google it and saw that they labeled #2 as upper radiator hose, except it was a VQDE engine, so i just wanted to double check..

well it might be that (lower) radiator hose but ima go with everyone else and say its the #2. hard to flame since everyone at one point has had to ask a dumb question about there car.

Its def. number 2. you can tell by the fact that the radiator cap is always at the top of your cooling system, and in this case it's connected to #2
