Default Need Motor Mount install Help...

From those that have successfully installed aftermarket motor mounts, can you please chime in on the install and give some tips...

like:
1.where to lift engine from?
2.do headers have to be removed to unbolt the stock mounts?
3.does the tranny mount have to be loosened prior to lifting engine?
4.how long did it take YOU to install the mounts

1) I used a cherry picker to hold up the motor by one of the tranny/bellhousing bolts and used the factory passenger side engine slinger.

2) not sure, I did it with a greddy TT kit already installed.

3) nope

4) the turbo kit made the install more difficult to gain access to the upper motor mount nuts.....so I can't give you a good time frame. I needed to use various extension and articulating knuckles to gain access to the upper nuts. I have lots of tools though, so it wasn't too difficult.

you can use a jack in a carefully picked spot. If you can put it somewhere where the tranny meets the block would be a good spot.
you could also use the bottom of the oil pan, but you'll probably need to use some sort of blocks to make sure you don't dent or smoosh the steel lower oil pan.
