Wondering if you guys could help me out.
came home from work the other day and as soon
as Iparked and shut off the engine, I got steam and coolant
comming out everywhere.
So after searching on forums I tried the following:
jacking up the car, opening the rad cap and getting the car
to opertating temps. Also opening the bleed valve by the firewall
and adding coolant. Is there anything I missed to get the air bubbles out??
I took the car out for a drive and it started to overheat within 5 minutes, while I was driving I had the hot air on full and was only getting cold air comming through.
Is this a sure sign the thermostat is the root cause?
any info would be highly appreciated!
Thanks!

quit possible. i would also check that your cooling fans are working to. just turn the ac on while the car is parked. but i would not drive to far overheating as you can really mess up the alimunum block.
