Polishing aluminum is pointless since it will eventually oxidize. I was going to chrome them if they worked.

 

^whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I polished every aluninum part in my engine bay 4 years ago and it still looks like chrome.

Seems the Gasket from the QX4 works on the Z valve cover. Though one must do the baffle cut mod+ Gray RTV + QX4 Gasket. Lets see if this works.

 

I just replaced the spark plug tube seals on my friends z33 with the cut+rtv sealant method. I used a Felpro gasket set, part number# ES72481.

I convinced him to buy new valve covers because this method is very unreliable and isn't recommended.

I am surprised no one has started a group buy for an aftermarket upgrade to this problem!!

 

Anyone ever tried these?? If so, Lemme know, cuz I'm thinking about getting them.
