I have a 05 Anniv Coupe auto w DRM feature. The rev match works downshifting in all gears even from 2 -1. Just bought a 06 Touring Roadster and the rev match feature works coming down in all gears EXCEPT into 1st gear. No warning lights or any indication of malfunction. Could it be a different prgram than my other car? Anyone familiar with this feature and the year model differences? Thx. Keith

 

If you do it at a low speed (under 25mph) it wont rev match it, but you shouldn't need to downshift into 1st anyways. let the car do it for itself.

 

No need to rev match first....... If you want to gain power from 2nd after coming from 3rd clutch kick is ur friend..

 

I will normally not downshift into first but I was comparing to my 05 anniv cpe. The 05 does it even at low speeds. Just wanting to make sure everything was working correctly.

 

you sir seem to be quite lost... unless my automatic has a clutch that i am able to kick...
