Default Differential

Has anyone considered replacing the open differential with a clutch, viscous or Torsen differential. I was reading about the Torsen differential and it appears to be the superior product on the market, however, Nissan is one of the few automotive manufacturers who do not use it...

What do you all think? Would this be too much work?

Daytona replaced his open diff with a KAAZ unit.

I believe raceboy is going to put in a Cusco unit.

I have changed to the KAAZ lsd from an open diff. It did require 2 new inner bearings, 2 side oil seals, and the 2 side differential ouput shafts for the conversion.

It is like night and day. I have snow on the ground now and it really helps out in the slippery conditions. I set mine up with a 60% locking arrangement and it works great. A little noisy when it is cold in my parkade but usually very quiet.
