when did it become 500HP? is that to the wheels? also, greddy's kit is now up to 450HP? is that to the wheels?

on bbbt's car... it was not even tuned to be running boosted... i like how that equals 500HP...

there are alot of numbers flying around (almost as many as rumors...)

i would love to see a breakdown of how these kits are performing at different boost levels... along with dyno charts (fat chance!)

the only one I know for sure is that greddy's kit is running 5.6psi out of the box with 334rwhp and 339rwtq. great job on your TT let me know when you make a trip to jo tech so I can check it out. oh and as for the PE kit I heard out of the box it will be running 4psi and 350ps. to run there claimed 400ps you have to use race gas. here is links about greddy:

Hopefully the shop I used to work at will hook it up, since we were an authorized GReddy dealer.

thanks for the info..

where did the 500hp on the PE kit come from?!!? the kit has been on only 2 US market Z's.... cheston and bbbt's... i don't know if cheston ever released the "tuned" HP numbers for the kit, but i doubt it was 500.. wheels or crank.

and the 450HP for the greddy kit..hmmm... was it written in magic marker..? perhaps a last second addition after seeing 500HP on the borla car..? hahah

oh yeah.. the article said the 334 was intercooled at 5.6psi...

as a side note, when dyno tuning my car, we made 350 on 4.5lbs (but this might be because i am running cat-less, and i have a very free flowing exhaust with very few bends...)

Exactly. I'd like to know what all these cars have installed to produce the numbers they are claiming.

Someone said that Greddy is putting out 334 out of the box. Well they have an exhaust on the car, so why aren't they making more than 334 claimed in Turbo magazine? Everything is so shady right now.

BBBT with the PE, might be able to get 500hp to the crank on race gas, but until it is done no one knows for sure.

Everyone needs to chill with the numbers untill someone like BBBT dyno's his car to see the numbers, and until the Greddy kit is installed on a Z and it is dynoed. Until then, I don't believe sh*t.

no way 500hp. crank or wheels.

i dunno where they came up with that number.. i dont want ppl to think that they can do miracles on stock internals with the kit.. FYI... our modest tuning got us around 380rwhp... that was only some crude tweakin' of the ECU so that the car would run on 7psi...

maybe with a full exhaust, test pipes, and 9 psi with a hope n prayer can they get 500...

the PE 380cc injectors and 7 psi boost gave us like 90% duty cycle on the new injectors...( ~ 3. bar.. i gotta double check).. if you wanna run bigger boost, then maybe the 440ccs would be better.... and thats when mayyyybe can u get 5xx rwhp with new connecting rods.

i would say 500hp to the crank is reachable..

i have full exhaust, test pipes, and ran 10lbs (for ***** and giggles) and got 420-something...

now my 400hp i reached is about 470hp to the crank... and 420hp would be over 500HP at the crank...

would i run that everyday? no... i am happy putting a REAL safe 400hp down as a daily-driver.

yea.. i agree with you Mike-

the fact is that BBBT's Z is at stock boost levels until he gets it tuned after SEMA.. the sign ontop his car is misleading.

The 1st time I saw my car was the 1st day of SEMA, Borla took it the weekend before the show started. I just got back from there so this is the 1st time this matter has come to my attention. I knew it would pop up here at the forums as soon as I saw that sign - knowing how everybody here keeps everyone updated regarding whats new.

I dunno where Borla got their numbers.... some guy from the marketing department made that sign and believe me, I wanted to take it down as soon as I saw it. But they wont lt me coz it attracted attention. Its funny how then didnt even label it as a PE kit. The sign almost makes a clueless person think that I fabricated my own Turbo!

oh well its coming from me... that car is NOT i repeat NOT pushing 500 to the crank or to the wheels. I'd be lucky to reach 300rwhp at its current form. More work needs to be done after SEMA but we dont plan to do any mad boost.

My sincerest appologies to those who was mislead by that stupid sign this extends to PE. I've gotten the respect and praise from of a number of members here at the forum by telling the truth. I'm not about to start lying now.

Thanks for the explanation Chebosto and SKiDaZZLe. My hands are tied. as long as that car is at SEMA it technically Borla's car and I cant remove that stupid sign. The dyno queen awards still belongs to SKiDaZZLe and Chebosto repectively. Now thats something coming directly FROM me.

Default Greddy info

I am at SEMA now, and have not had time to read posts, so if this info has been posted before, I apologies

Greddy released their Twin Turbo kit for pre-ordering, which we have one on order for our project Z, but there appears to be different parts available with this kit.
I do not know all the details, but it appears some shops are ordering this Kit, with some of the parts not included, in their standard kit.
I just want to make a note of this, because before any of you order, if pricing doesn't match up, make sure you get a list of ALL the parts that are included with your purchase.

And the Intercooler is sold separately.

Also, the Greddy is accepting pre-orders for their SP exhaust
List, $599
The g35 was very low to the ground, so I couldn't get a good picture.

We are going to hold out for the Evo. Which should be available next month.

Oh and ETA on Greddy TT pre-orders, is Thanksgiving

Back to the show!

of course Cheston! at your convenience we would like to see you at techno square. with out that ECU or fuel management I feel like the car is a rolling time bomb. They just did enough to have the car ready to roll to SEMA and the tuning was never finished.

We'll just go for conservative boost levels. For now I'm happy enough knowing that 6th gear now pulls like 5th

who? i'm pretty sure price fixing is illegal, as in violation of federal and state antitrust laws.

Default For those wanting the Greddy TT Kit, here some info.

It's going to be released for public sale in end of this month. I believe date was 11/22.

Price is $8,100 and change MSRP including the front mount intercooler.

Just thought I'd share for those who didn't know
