If you've ever had to tear down a vq engine for head gaskets or any type of service you would understand why. Plus the amount of money to get that kind of power on a vq is a lot higher than a v8. Trust me, i'm there.

that's like saying "why buy a 350z and turbo it, just buy a gtr". 2 separate cars.

 

I understand that the vett is way more expensive, but i'm the type to keep a nissan, a nissan..... I guess if you're just looking for numbers , then go and drop an ls2 in it, but when you go and spank a regular Z pls don't brag too much. I'd give more props to a Z with a VQ that spanked another VQ. like I said, to each their own.

WHo fukcin cares? The only thing different in an HR from an 06 Z is the engine so why does it matter? Damn you post some stupid **** sometimes.

And **** the guy in the vids, hes banned from here because he jerked someone out of quite a bit of money. Hopefully he crashes.

SnyperZ is a cool guy. I have been talking with him on AIM for a couple months to help with some background knowledge for the LS1 swap I am currently doing.

 

LoL at this douchebag^^^. I know the owner and he was actually banned for bad mouthing intense because he said their turbo kit sucked. And then someone bought a fender roller off of him and something happend and he actually tried giving the money back but the guy insisted on getting the roller and then had a moderator give him an ultimatum and the kid told the mod to **** off then got banned. There is two sides to every story and honestly I don't think the kid really tried to screw someone out of a fender roller. From what I see in his build I couldn't see him needing to screw someone out of a 100$.

I get more attention for my LS swap then any old overdone turbo Z any day. I was turbo'd before I did the swap and for out the hard way that the VQ wasn't reliable once it did. Same old story - Add turbo, go Boom! Now I'm putting down 405whp/410ft-lb N/A (More than I was making turbo'd by the way) and I'm soon to making over 500hp after heads and cam.
I give much props for those who have turbo'd the VQ with success but those guys are the exception and not the rule. It didn't work for me so I found something that did and I'm loving it.
How much of an idiot would I have been to blow one VQ only to buy another just to blow that one too? Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". I just hate making the same mistake twice.
