Default Top Fuel Power Neo

Has anyone tried this yet? I know Top Fuel is a pretty hardkore tuner in Japan. Not sure if this is just hype or if it might actually help out. If it gives better gas mileage, I'm all for it.

Seems like hocus-pocus to me, but Top Fuel is an elite tuner

Yeah I just might...been having the mod itch for a lil while, and I thought I might be the guinea pig for everyone.

Hey FairladyZ where in Allen do you live at? I work at Sage Telecom right off 75/Bethany. There's a few Z's here, but only my lone G!

Yeah sounds good. The local G35 club is headed out to the drag strip on the 22nd if you want to join us.

Do we have anyone on this board that is an expert in physics and chemistry? I wonder if this product has a valid theory, or is just hocus pocus BS. I personally do not have the depth of knowledge to determine if magnetic interference will alter the molecules in fuel?

I actually might "ghetto rig" something similar up. Been talking to a friend that said we can just get neodymium magnets and fabricate something to see if it really helps w/ fuel. Drive around for a week or two with it on then report back.

Take the magnet out of the fancy "heat sink" shell and replace it with some ferrite shielding. Then you'll have the ulitmate computer mod for your video cable!!!!

Otherwise, there won't be any use for this thing.

Keep in mind that an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) requires mad power to run electromagnets just to get some water molecules to all line up. These magnets will rip belt buckles off your pants. In other words, this product doesn't have a strong enough magnetic field and even if it did, it probably wouldn't have any effect.

I don't know why you guys diss this so much. Lots of top tuners in japan use this as well as the neo pro. Couldn't hurt, just might help you FI guys out a little too.

I'll say this, seeing as I might be one of the few people in the country who actually HAS this piece on one of my cars.

It was given to me (we don't sell Top Fuel Products) last year by one of my suppliers in Japan. I installed it onto my 280 ZX Turbo, which is heavily modded (fully built motor, T66, big front mount, Electromotive standalone, etc etc etc). After installing it, we had to completely redo my fuel tables....the car ran a fuel 3/4 point richer across the rev range with this piece installed vs off. I also found I was able to better tune the idle (my car has always been finicky in this regard). So, empirical evidence? Nope - purely annecdotal, but at least I tried it and did not have to pay for it

to install the power neo on the 350z, what is the best place to install it anyway? On the fuel line right before the brass regulator? (on the same bracket as the EGR recirc hose?). back left side of the engine.
